MGPS PROFILE
Morning Glory Public Society is a non - government organization working on issues affecting the urban and rural poor, with a special focus on children. It is because 'Every child deserves a chance' that the organization exists and works towards making that possible.
Morning Glory Public Society is a registered society under societies registration act XXI of 1860, INDIA (Asia). MGPS, aims to make world self sufficient. "To accomplish great things we must not only act, but also dream, not only plan, but also Believe." And perhaps, true to this saying Morning Glory Public Society glow up and stand as a unique foundation in its working areas. We deliver specially designed training for skill development and better education to rural/ semi urban/ slums in individual development and relief.
We aim to improve civil society performance by strengthening individual skills and their effectiveness and by exploring need issues. Various activities related to upliftment of weaker and needy sections of the society. Includes: education, environmental awareness, AIDS awareness, Life skill education Programmes, road safety, rural awareness generation camps, vocational trainings, skill development initiative programmes, rural entrepreneurship development Programme. Even with limited resources we are able to reach many underprivileged women, children and youth of society through dedication devotion and untiring efforts of innovative people.
An integrated approach is adopted by the society. Opportunities are provided particularly women, in leadership, decision making and self reliance. The responsibilities related to various programmes right from identification of needs/ problems, analysis, polarization, planning and evaluation are vested with them. Opportunities are provided to women, the economically deprived, exploited, harassed and sexually abused and tormented half of the human race, who need more support to assert them and achieve equality. Effective contribution has been made in society efforts and achievement equally by programme implementing staff.
