POSH 2013 Act

Prevention of Sexual Harassment - to address the issue of sexual harassment faced by women in the workplace. We are empanelled as a resource institue for POSH and also an external member of POSH

Started in October 2019, have completed 4 years as of now, We distribute ration every month to 60+ years old widow ladies.

CSR Activities

(1) Menstrual hygiene for 6th to 12th Class Govt. school girls.
(2) Malnutrition for small children.
(3) Vocational Training Programs

MORNING GLORY PUBLIC SOCIETY comes under Section 80G and Section 12A

80G certificate is issued by Income Tax Department to a NGO And to charitable trust or a section & company. The 80G Certificate is granted to encourage the donor to donate fund into such NGOs.
Benefits of 80G:

  • Donor gets a tax exemption of 50% when they make donation to non-government orgnization.
  • Donor become eligible to deduct such amount from their Gross Total Income.

Section 12A of Income Tax ACT 1961, is a one time tax exemption provideed to NGOs. Orgnization holding registration under section 12A are exempted from paying taxes on their surplus income.

The Sexual Harasment of women at workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act No 14 of 2013

An Act Provide proctection against sexual harasment of women at work place and for the prevention and rederssal of complaints of sexual harasment and for matters connect therewith or incidental thereto.

Under this Act our Orgnization help women. Our one member place at workplace if any women faces problem of sexual harasment they can complaint to our member which is persent there and we take a strict action against the person who does harassment. Our orgnization take stand for the suspect.

MORNING GLORY PUBLIC SOCIETY does help of Old Widow Ladies

Our orgnization do help of Old age and widow ladies who are living alone and they don't have any source of income. We provide RATION to these womens every month and try to keep them happy.

MORNING GLORY PUBLIC SOCIETY tries BEST for PEOPLE

Our orgnization orgnizes Menstrual programme for Govt. school Girls 6th to 12th class and provide sanitary pads to them and tries to keep safe to illness.

  • Vocational training programmes

And We orgnizes a Vocational training Programmes for rural area womens from 18 to 35 years old to teach them life skill in daily routine life while travelling places, dealing things etc.

REDP/SDI

MGPS lays stress on skill development for rural. Search for peers to work for the groups. Motivate other to improve their skill in particular. During past years the organization organized various REDP's in states like Punjab, Himachal and Haryana under kind assistance of NABARD Chandigarh.

JSY/RCH

In order to reduce MMR and IMR with the help of organization and initiated the Janani Suvidha Yojna. This scheme includes private health providers with objectives of improving the accessibility of good quality antenatal, natal and post natal services to pregnant mothers of urban slums.

WCD Programme

The organization organizes health check up camps time and again in the community especially for women. These camps are organized in the areas where a need is felt and for poor women to go to far off areas for their treatment and health check ups. Awareness camps are organized time to time in urban slums and rural area concerned to Female Feoticide, Gender Sensitization, and Education etc.

Road Safety

Accident on roads, are increasing every minute and hour, keeping in view its importance the organization launches many road safety awareness campaigns. MGPS distributed free reflector fixing eye checkup camps for drivers and distributed spectacles. Nukkad Nattaks (Plays on Street) and Puppet shows were organized with effective and entertaining scripts and reflecting different signs and rules.

Child Labour/Education

The organization also organizes the campaign to educate and enlighten community on the need to discourage child labour and by providing facility for non- formal education centers for the reduction of child labour as well as to care the children of migrant labour living in pockets.

Swadhar

The organization has been counselling family disputes. Counsellors appointed try their best to patch up the differences among them. Beside this the society organizes various legal awareness programmes. The society is running a counselling center for Both (Men & Women).
